Neo wakes up in this long, long corridor and walks for he doesn't know how long, until he reaches a gymnasium filled with strangers his age. Finding no exit and having no further information than that let out by a lazy, strange voice coming out of some speakers, they decide to all introduce themselves before even trying to take action together - and as the voice told them, it would seem that they're all Ultimates. Neo thinks it's odd that sixteen Ultimates should find themselves trapped in a gymnasium like this, but it doesn't sound so impressive anymore when a robotic black and white bear shows up and actually starts talking. It talks about some videogame series named "Danganronpa", but Neo's never heard of it before. However, two of his new friends confirm that Danganronpa does indeed exist, and even invented the very concept of Ultimates, that's just a normal part of the society he knows! Worst of all, Danganronpa is all about trapping young people to make them kill each other, and this bear wants to recreate it. This all sounds terribly dumb and wicked, and all that's left is to escape. But Neo will soon enough realize there's no escaping. They're all trapped within these walls, and there's literaly nothing they can do. Despair seems so simple to reach...

An unspecified amount of time after the fall of the original Hope's Peak Academy and The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History, sixteen students from the revived Hope's Peak Academy find themselves at Hiroishiya Rehabilitation Center with no memory of how or why they arrived there. After exploring the building and getting acquainted with one another, they learn that they are being made to take part in a killing game hosted by Monokuma, whose new handler is unknown. While a few students recognize Monokuma and remember the events that he caused in the past, most have never learned of the events that laid ruin to their world in the past. As such, they find themselves going back to a long-forgotten time in which hope and despair fought for control over the world, and they have to sacrifice their relatively peaceful lives in order to guarantee their safety.

The fanfiction is seen from Sumi Sukira's point of view from the start to the end, we can see her in the begining infront of Hope's Peak Academy and as usual, when she walks in to the school building she is overcome with fatigue and when she recovers, she finds herself infront of a door and with a strong urge to open in it. When she does, she finds herself infront of her 15 classmates trapped in the classroom with a random blue cat called Neko and a white bunny named Usami. The bunny clamed being their teacher and the cat claimed being their guide, but guide for what? For a school trip, kinda like SDR2. Suddenly, the walls of the classroom fall down and they find themselves in a forest like camp, a very green and natural place that was peaceful for the classmates. Until the crazy white and black bear makes his entrance, converting Usami to Monomi and Neko to Mononeko, and taking control on the whole camp with his army of Mechamarus. After meeting with his classmates, all of them end up succumbing to the effects of a sleeping gas, and wake up locked in the school, their cellphones with no signal, and no one around but them. Then, they meet Monokuma, who tells them that, to leave, they will have to kill each other.

But the mastermind to the upcoming killing game came to the school, and had a plan to take over the school and start yet another killing game. It was a simple plan. Grow popular, grow attached to the principal good student wise, convince him that you can run the school better, prosper. And that plan worked better than you'd think. The soon to be mastermind took over, and finally announced their plans, which were taken extremely well, since many people missed the show. So the new school shut down, and for once, they searched for REAL ultimate students. Students who excelled at something they did, usually daily. Then, finding the 15 students they needed, the now mastermind blended in as a student, and began a new killing game. What they called: The SIBLINGS OF DESPAIR.

Right then when Students were asking what this is all about, a door to an elevator opens, which brings them to another place. The scenery was complete different and more confusing then before. They arrived at a great hall that has similarities to a gym. especially when it couldn`t have been worse, two moving stuffed bears appeared to welcome them. Everyone was shocked when they explained them the reason why this 16 Students were here. A mutual killing game called the Killing School Adventure. Killing each other to win hope and suffer in despair. However there is one Rule that brings everybody already to doubt the others (...)

Danganronpa 4: Trust Kill is the 4th entry in the Danganronpa series written by Queen Amy. It has no relation to the Hope's Peak Academy saga or the Gifted Inmates Academy saga and features a new location, a new cast of characters and a new main theme which is set to be: TRUST vs DISTRUST. The overall theme of the game is "psycho crazy" and features a new cast, new music, a new location and brand new minigames. Although the Daily Life segments are unchanged the Class Trials have been upgraded. The biggest change seen in the Class Trials is the ability to detect someone's lie but trust them enough to cover for them and refute the wrong statement on purpose. This will make the Class Trials tense and full of DISTRUST.

Danganronpa Scarlet: Chaotic Order takes place in Sunrise Academy for Stunning Youths, a combined high school and college for "ultimates", people who are at the top of their ability in the world. The exact location of the academy is unclear, but Ezekiel mentions that it's somewhere in the northwest United States. Windows and exits are blocked by jail bars, unbreakable by anyone or anything. However, Axomono has the ability to push them down with his Axopad. However, the layout of the school is much different than what everyone remembers being advertised. There's a lack of outside space, and everything is indoors, with the temperature being constantly cold. The reason for this isn't currently known...

This isn't your average killing game, this is a killing game hosted by one of the most creatively dangerous host. Sfera. Sixteen visitors will be going against each other, so who will survive? Who will die, and who will be the blackened?

Danganronpa: Shattered Glass is a fanfiction written by Chain-Chan!. It first follows a painstakingly average boy named Rokuro Nakamura as he goes to his first year of Hope's Peak Academy. Rokuro always expected his life to be average and normal, even though that wasn't exactly what he wanted. But, as the events of this fanfiction unfold, Rokuro himself realizes that he would have been better off living a boring life than a dangerous, high-stakes one. At this point, Rokuro is faced with a terrible decision: Could he live the rest of his life trapped in this sadistic, dangerous school, or could he kill all of his friends to escape?

Danganronpa 8: A New Hope and Despair (Full title being The Return of Danganronpa 8: A New Hope and Despair) is the 8th season of Team Danganronpa's long-running Danganronpa series. This particular season of the show gained it's own video game adaptation due to it's popularity much like the first three seasons of the show. The story is set within a alternative universe where the casts of both Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair have been kidnapped by Monokuma (or Usami/Monomi as well as possibly the Kubs) and are forced to participate in the Newblood Killing Game. This is the only game in the series that allows the player to control both the main protagonist and antagonist as well being the only game to allow you to setup your own killing game.

And why is that creepy teddie bear telling the students to kill each other?

Meeting with his fellow classmates in the gymnasium, after looking for the second half of the student body first and trying to understand where they are, they're confronted by a strange plushie mascott greeting them, before officially launching the Annex Killing Game, the reason why they were all gathered between these walls in the first place. From that point on, a new killing game has begun, bringing mystery, havoc and despair.
